The American Art Therapy Association remembers Georgette Seabrooke Powell's remarkable contribution to the art therapy profession.

On September 30, 2012, art therapists in the greater Washington DC area will gather for a special memorial in her honor at the Smithsonian Anacostia Community Museum.
